Organic FieldLog was born from a simple frustration: the record-keeping tools available to organic farmers were either built for conventional agriculture or stuck in the era of paper binders and spreadsheets. We set out to change that.
Our story
Our founding team spent years working alongside organic growers — from small family vegetable farms to large-scale grain operations. We watched brilliant, hard-working farmers lose entire afternoons hunting down a single input receipt before an audit. We saw crew leads scribble application notes on their hands because there wasn't a better option in the field.
The existing tools weren't built for the unique demands of organic compliance. Conventional farm management software ignored buffer zones, transition tracking, and NOP-specific reporting. Generic spreadsheet templates broke down the moment a farm grew past three fields. And paper? Paper gets wet, lost, or left in the cab of a truck.
We started Organic FieldLog to build the platform we wished existed: purpose-built for organic operations, designed to work offline in rural fields, and simple enough that every member of a farm team can use it from day one.
Today, hundreds of farms across 34 states rely on FieldLog to keep their records audit-ready, their teams aligned, and their certification secure. We're just getting started.
